Photos from Royal Adelaide Show

Ok, internet seems to be a bit better today... here are some photos from the show!

Entrance to the Adelaide Showground

Mosiac Winners (the ones with the blue ribbons are first prize)

I believe this is the first prize from the painting category

One of the quilts on show. What I find interesting about this quilt is that it's actually 50 years of the persons life. Every square depicts part of her/his life. There's photos of the person's family, kids, growing up etc. Very nice.

One of the first prize from the Quilt category. Must take them a long time... every different color that you see is a different piece of cloth. o.O imagine the time put into this!

Special and first prize for Embroidery category. Intricate work done here.
First prize for jewelery category.

Forgot what category is this. But these are the eggs...

Apples ^^ Nice design. Heh
My favourite category from the show... the Cake Decorating Category! It's always nice to see how nice they look!!!

Junior Category

Carnival

One of the dog from the dog pavilion. They have show judging for the show. Havent seen this dog before o.O

This dog is the winner of a lot of cateogries. See those cards behind him? 8 Cards. It refuses to look at me. Sob

One of the winners of the cat category :)

Another winner. This cat was really frisky. hehe.

Weird looking duck. There's a patch on top of its head o.O

Coloured chickens... ^^||

Piggies :) These animals are part of the farm experience that they have on the show. It's interesting! and the kids love it.

Showbags! This is the part that everyone love! U buy these bags that are filled with stuff... candies and chocolates for me of course. I remember last time when fen and I went to the Easter Show in Sydney, we went crazy buying showbags. And of course the inflatibles. But I controlled this time... bought only two.

Huge cow. :P Dairy farmer is the sponsor of the fireworks.

Taste SA. Yep, they have a part of the show for u to taste produce of SA. Very nice. Spend quite a bit of my time here tasting

Sunset at the show

And of course, the fireworks!! =D There were a lot of performances before the fireworks, which I wasnt really interested in. And the fireworks nearly didnt go ahead because of the strong winds. Thank goodness the wind became weaker :)
